The Rutgers University Spirit Program provides leadership and entertainment for the 52,454 fans who fill Rutgers SHI Stadium throughout football season and the 8,000 fans who pack Jersey Mike's Arena for men's and women's basketball. While their primary purpose is to support football and basketball, the men and women in the Spirit Program also serve as ambassadors for the University, providing Scarlet Knight spirit not only for a number of Rutgers athletic and community endeavors, but at various public relations and outreach events throughout the state and across the nation. Throughout the year, Spirit Program student-athletes can be seen at all home football games, men's and women's basketball games, various sporting events at Rutgers, UCA/UDA summer camp, postseason bowl games and men's and women's basketball tournaments, and the UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship.

This past January, our cheerleading team, dance team and mascot Sir Henry competed at the College Nationals where as a program we were recognized in the top 10 in all areas. The support of our donors allows us the opportunity to continue to compete against the best colleges and universities in the country.

Your donation will go towards some necessary additions to the program such as equipment, specialized uniforms (pink Poms, military day) and benefits for our student-athletes.
