The Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden Emergency Fund provides short-term, one-time financial assistance to nursing students facing unexpected hardships that could impact their ability to stay enrolled and complete their degree. In addition, nursing students often encounter essential, program-related expenses—such as background checks, immunizations, uniforms, scrubs, and clinical equipment—that can be difficult to afford.

This fund helps ease those financial pressures, ensuring students can fully participate in their coursework and clinical training without added stress. By removing urgent financial barriers, the Emergency Fund supports student success, well-being, and the ability to focus on becoming the next generation of nurses.
