🌟 RBS is delighted to share with you an exciting experiential learning opportunity for our students with a study trip to Singapore and Vietnam (January 3-12, 2025)! This 3-credit elective Global Experience Course is open to all RBS MBA as well as top Junior/Seniors undergraduate students. The study trip and four associated pre-trip seminars will be led by Dr. Markus Taussig and Dr. Jonathan Ng from the Department of Management and Global Business. In addition to their teaching and research focus on business and strategy in emerging markets, the two have well over a half a century of combined experience living and working in these two countries! Given the dynamic roles that these two countries on the other side of our planet play in the global economy and their very different histories and cultures, we expect that this will be a life-changing experience for our participating students. For this trip, we have partnered with Austral Group, a leader in international immersion programs for universities since 2005.
💰 The program cost for this overseas trip, excluding return airfares and incidental expenses, is $2,600 per student. To reduce financial obstacles to participation, we are launching a fundraising campaign to raise at least $15,600 by 31 Aug 2024. Our target is to benefit at least 6 well-qualified RBS students from financially challenged backgrounds. ✨ We are reaching out to businesses and RBS Alumni like you/yours to ask for help in achieving our fundraising goals.
