Rutgers Association of Philippine Students (RAPS) Support Fund

The Rutgers Association of Philippine Students is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Battle of the Barrios, an intercollegiate skit competition that unites universities from all across Northern NJ, NYC, and Long Island area. Here, schools have the chance to compete through 10-minute creative performances rooted in Filipino heritage. This year’s event supports community initiatives in the Philippines led by the PUSO Foundation, whose mission focuses on providing care and resources to vulnerable communities. Funds raised will directly contribute to event execution, including securing a guest headliner, staging and technical needs, meals for volunteers and performers, and décor that elevates the experience for participants and attendees. Contributions will ensure that students have an inspiring platform to share stories, highlight contemporary issues, and strengthen connections within the Filipino community, all while advancing meaningful philanthropic work.
