Lisa Scott Toll Memorial Annual Scholarship

The Lisa Scott Toll Memorial Annual Scholarship is in memory of beloved educator, mother, and grandmother, Lisa Scott Toll, alumna of Rutgers-Camden.

Lisa rose against many odds to graduate from Rutgers-Camden in her 40s. She then became an English and Basic Skills teacher in the Camden and Collingswood Schools. Lisa was strong and smart and was a fierce defender of truth and equitable education for all of her students. She always stood up for her values and her students were the highlight of the second act of her life. After attending many colleges throughout her lifetime, Rutgers was ultimately where she graduated from, like her father before her. She never gave up on her goals and was living proof that it is never too late to change your path.
