Dear Friends of Meryle.

Thank you so much for contributing to the Meryle Mahrer Kaplan DC’68 Program Fund at Rutgers. We did it! Our fundraising goal of $25,000 was reached and the fund can now be endowed . The Fund will allow applicant(s) to apply for funds to attend a conference, symposium or program that will enhance their education and professional experience. I am sure Meryle would have been pleased and proud to be able to provide this experience to our students.

I am particularly grateful to Carol Sobel and Dr. Millicent Kellner of the Class of 1968 and Lytisha Williams and Elia Desruisseaux of the Rutgers Foundation for their support and administrative help.

If you would like to continue to support Douglass/Rutgers in the future, the fund can grow and support more student requests for this kind of assistance. I know I will include the Meryle Fund in my annual giving.

Enjoy the summer!

Best,

Linda
