While we are making significant institutional investments in diversity to realize our vision of a more inclusive Rutgers, your gift to the Inclusive Excellence Fund expands our capacity to lead strategic university-wide efforts to advance diversity and inclusion, creating new initiatives to enhance faculty and staff diversity, student access and educational equity. Funds raised will be used to resource the pursuit of inclusive excellence – a cohesive, coherent, and collaborative integration of diversity and inclusion into the shared pursuit of excellence – across Rutgers University. With a particular focus on advancing the university's strategic diversity priorities to: recruit, retain, and develop a diverse community, promote inclusive scholarship and teaching, define sustainable and substantive community engagement, build the capacity of leaders to create inclusive climates, and develop institutional infrastructure to drive change.
