The Rutgers Environmental Steward Program empowers community members to make a real impact on New Jersey’s environment. Through expert-led training and hands-on projects, Stewards help address climate resilience, water quality, habitat restoration, and environmental justice challenges in their own communities. Gifts to the program provide scholarships, field experiences, and project support that remove barriers for volunteers eager to make a difference.
