Donations will be primarily used to support students who are presenting exemplary posters at national-level conferences. Students apply for grants from the association biannually, and the Alumni Association’s student support committee selects awardees based on the quality of both the poster presented and the application.
While in the past these funds have been used solely to support conference-related expenses, this year we are also raising funds for general student support. This provides funding flexibility as student needs occasionally change (like during the pandemic). As always, 100% of the funds raised will go directly to students.
