Donate today to support the Center for Computational and Integrative Biology (CCIB) at Rutgers–Camden! CCIB brings together experimental and computational scientists to solve complex biological problems with a shared sense of purpose. Our faculty are trained in biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, and applied mathematics, but we can work together because we share values. We’re a pragmatic group of scientists with genuinely synergistic approaches to research, and we’re interested in solving problems, not grandstanding. It might sound simple. In scientific research, it's surprisingly uncommon and powerful.

CCIB combines the infrastructure of a major research university with the day-to-day feel of a small, tight-knit community. We support graduate programs that are built on a high-support, high-expectations model. For the last decade, we have been steadily removing unnecessary pain from graduate training, so students can focus their energy where it belongs: doing better science.
